Evaluate the benefit of a polymer as an agglomerating additive on a mixed oxide-sulfide copper

Approach

Comparison of hydrodynamic behavior of hydrodynamic column tests with (w/) and without (w/o) additives

Results

• Show that the particular agglomerating additive would be a hindrance to flow process
• Eliminating the polymer addition would represent cost savings between $0.75 M to $1.5 M per month during life of mine
